Power up your simulations with seamless integration of mineral processing models! We are excited to announce the release of the new SysCAD Met Dynamics Add-On, developed in collaboration with Scott Munro at Met Dynamics.
With this new feature, SysCAD becomes even more versatile as a single platform for detailed simulation across applications in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, water treatment, utilities and more.
The Met Dynamics Add-On features a comprehensive library of PSD-enabled process unit models. Key components include:
- Comminution: AG/SAG mills, crushers, HPGR, rod, ball, and stirred mills
- Classification: screens, hydrocyclones, hydraulic classifiers
- Concentration: flotation cells, dense medium separators, gravity concentrators
These models build upon the SysCAD PSD Add-On and feature multicomponent particulate solids tracking for application in both steady-state and dynamic models.
The Met Dynamics models are also available in Excel and have been extensively applied to consulting projects for over 15 years prior to commercial release.
